INITIAL MEMBERSHIP FEE - INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE NEVER BEEN MEMBERS OF URC IN THE PAST
Lifetime membership into the Uwharrie Running Club. In order to keep our records active and for insurance purposes, we will ask you to renew your membership annually at no cost. With your lifetime membership you will receive the URC newsletter, invitations to social events, discounts at Vac & Dash, and a URC shirt.
PREVIOUS PURCHASE OF LIFETIME MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED FOR THIS MEMBERSHIP TYPE:
In order to keep our records active for insurance purposes, lifetime members are asked to renew, at no cost, their lifetime status to active each year in January.
Description
Mission: Encourage and promote activity for a healthy lifestyle for all. Our goals are to have fun, inspire, and get our community to run, walk, and engage in activity throughout Stanly and Montgomery Counties and surrounding areas. We hope to encourage and support you to a healthy happy lifestyle while meeting new friends and building lifelong healthy habits. Together we can support each other to live healthy and active lifestyles while building community engagement and making lifelong friends!

- Annual Beach Blast 5K
- Run the Valley 5K/10K/Half Marathon
- Volunteer at Mini Medley Relay Race
- Beginner/Running 101
- Network with Running Clubs from surrounding areas
- Carpools to Out-of-Town Races
