Description
Ocean Running Club is a non-profit running/walking club that promotes a healthy living through fitness and friendship. Formed back in 1978, Ocean Running Club promotes and encourages running and walking as a competitive sport and as a means of healthful exercise.
We are the proud organizers of the Annual Seaside Half Marathon and 5K and have been for the last 48 years bringing in runners from over 20+ states and various countries. We are also the organizers of the Annual Pine Beach 5k. Both of these races raise money that is distributed back into the community by ways of donations, scholarships to students within the region, and the ability to provide events throughout the year to club members such as the Summer and Winter series, track workouts, and weekly group runs.

🌊 2026 ORC Seaside Half Marathon & 5K
Seaside Heights / Seaside Park
Join Ocean Running Club for one of the Jersey Shore’s classic race weekends! The 2026 ORC Seaside Half Marathon & 5K brings runners back to the boardwalk and surrounding roads for a fast, scenic course and a great cause.
Proceeds benefit the Tri-Boro First Aid Squad of Seaside Heights, Seaside Park, and Berkeley Township, as well as the ORC Scholarship Fund.

The ORC Pine Beach 5K is a small-town favorite with big community spirit. Hosted by Ocean Running Club, this race features a fast, flat course through the quiet streets of Pine Beach—perfect for first-time runners, seasoned racers, and everyone in between.
This event supports the ORC Scholarship Fund and continues ORC’s mission of promoting running, fitness, and community involvement throughout Ocean County.
